Programmes and Achievements :

A. Literacy Project:

N.F.E. Programme:

          Organized Non Formal Education program from the year 1995 to 2001 at Guntakal Mandal of Anantapur Dist. To improve literacy rate in drop-out children.   We have mainstreamed 750 drop out children in Regular school during the above period.

R.B.C. for child Labor:

          Organized three residential bridge centers for child labor at Chippagiri Mandal of Kurnool Dist., from 2004 to 2006 we have main streamed 260 dropout / illiterate children in regular schools and also admitted in Social Welfare Hostels to continue their education.

R.B.C. for Urban deprived children:

          Organized special R.B.C. for the Urban deprived children at Guntakal of Anantapur District during the year 2004-05.  Nearly 80 hard core children have been admitted in regular schools and also admitted in social welfare hostels to continue their education.

R.B.C. for the children of migrated labour from A.P. to Karnataka State:

          We organized special R.B.C. for the children of migrated labour from A.P. to Karnataka State at Thornagallu village of Bellary Dist. During the year 2005-06.   We admitted nearly 150 children in the R.B.C.   At the end of the course we conducted examination to the children and issued bridge course certificates to the children to main stream them in regular school in their respective districts.

B. CHILD WELFARE PROJECT:

BALATEJASSU:

WE organized and run an innovative program called “Balatejassu” at Guntakal to assist the children in difficult situation like Rly. Platform children / Street children.  The aim of the project is to re-unite these children with their parents. During the year 2004-08 For the four years, we have re-united 1709 children with their parents.  We have also organized 7 de-addiction camps for hard core Rly., platform children.

BALAVIKAS:

We have maintained an innovative program called Balavikas for the welfare of the children without parents.   The aim of the program is to strive up for whole some development of Street children having none or ineffective family support, by providing education, enhancement of livelihood skills in composite center. During the year 2005-06

C.  MEDICAL & HEALTH PROJECTS:

The organization also participating in Medical & Health Programmes like

Urban Health Centre :   The organization is maintained One Urban Health Centre at Indira Nagar, Adoni, Kurnool Dist., by covering 30,000 slum population and is providing health care and out reach services particularly in maternal and health areas combined with minimum curative care to make it possible to achieve the goal of health by 2020 among the slum community. During the year 2002-2016

RCH Programme :   As per the instructions of DM&HO, Anantapur, we are working as filed NGO and we are providing Health services in under served areas of Yellanuru Mandal of Anantapur District to improve ANC, acceptance of FP methods, increase of institutional deliveries, treatment of RTI and awareness on age at marriage among adolescents in 12 villages of 13 sub centers.

AP CHIP PROGRAMME:  We are also implementing Andhra Pradesh Community Health Interventions Project – APCHIP with the support of RISE, APCATH NETWORK – TB Alert, India, financed by DFID, working IN Guntakal designated Microscopy centers of RNTCP in Anantapur District with the population coverage of 1,01,103.   Accordingly, we appointed 1 Supervisor to assist the program in Guntakal Mandal.
